Meet Mr Humfreez. As a part of ANZ bank’s healthy homes initiative this smart household device in sheep’s clothing uses the power of nature to help people in New Zealand to live in warmer, drier and quieter houses. Mr Humfreez has been calibrated so his hygroscopic horns fully uncurl when the relative humidity level exceeds 65%, and the thermochromic ink on his nose turns blue when the temperature drops below 18°C – standards set by the World Health Organization for a healthy home. Instead of a plastic gadget, it’s a biodegradable device that doesn’t require a power source. Check out the ANZ website to learn more about this award-winning collectable campaign.
