The Amsterdam agency Tribal DDB Worldwide approached non-profit organization De Volksbond with a wild idea: a casting agency for the homeless. The ambition is to hire homeless as extras (background actors) in films and commercials. For every day on set, the extras get paid a fee and they also become part of a positive atmosphere and have contact with other people. Homeless Extras can be booked directly on this website.
