Just before the start of the New York Fashion Week Diesel came up with this fun PR stunt. The fashion brand opened a bootleg store in Chinatown selling fakes that are actually real. All the pieces were specially crafted by Diesel design team and printed with the misspelt Diesel logo. Short after the opening Diesel turned the pop-up into an event. Rapper Gucci Mane invited his Instagram-followers to meet him at shop which resulted in a huge line outside. The Deisel-collection is now sold online.
