Last weekend a mysterious plane appeared in Shoreditch High Street in East London. Curious passers-by who entered it were instantly transported into an immersive experience that took them on a mini trip to contemporary Holland. Guided by a full cast of live actors the visitors took a boat trip down the Amsterdam canal, visited an art gallery visit and walked through a field of tulips. The experience is an extension of EasyJet’s ‘Why not?’ campaign, that encourages travellers to make more spontaneous trips. The airline teamed up with the Dutch Tourism Board and Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport.
