To celebrate the three-year anniversary of ING’s Mobile Banking App, BrandBase created a tasty activation to thank current users and inspire people to try out the application. The APPle Pie event took place on 13 November. On that day, 12 bakery teams on 12 train stations across The Netherlands handed out fresh pieces of apple pie to passengers who had installed the app on their smartphones. The activation was supported regionally with (Facebook) ad with interesting facts about ING Mobile Banking App in each province.
