ING – The Rembrandt Tutorials

Rembrandt wasn’t just one of history’s greatest painters, he was also a great teacher. With that insight in mind ING bank, chief sponsor of the Amsterdam Rijksmuseum, came up with an activation on the 350th anniversary of his death. They teamed up with a team of technology and art experts to recreate Rembrandt’s voice – allowing him to teach again. The Rembrandt Tutorials are narrated by the painter ‘himself’: spoken in his own words, using his 17th century language, manner of speech and the reconstructed sound his voice.
