During Sail 2010 ING transformed a 2000 square meters big floating platform into an oasis full of adventure for young and old. When kids entered the Pirate Island they got a headscarf, make-up and binoculars so they looked just like pirates. After that they could play adventurous games like sword fighting and treasure hunting and obtained a free copy of a specially made pirate comic. At night the ING Pirate Island turned into an entertainment hotspot for adults with performances by well known Dutch artists and deejays. To emphasize the nautical feel the spectacular Swedish ship the Götheborg laid its anchor next to the Pirate Island. Brandbase was responsible for the production of the feelgood event.
