Pinterest is an up and coming sociaal network that allows users to pin images to a board. Since mostley women use the site, Kotex was the first major brand to launch a campaign on the platform. For Womens Inspiration Day Kotex selected fifty inspiring women that they found on Pinterest. The lucky ladies received a virtual Kotex-giftbox that was compiled on the basis of their own Pinterest-boards. All the women had to do to get the real package was post about the gift box on Pinterest and other social platforms. The campaign created a huge buzz on Pinterest, but also Facebook and Twitter.
