Our cities are getting louder and noise pollution appears to be one crucial and societal issue. Starting from that point, Peugeot has imagined a solution to recycle the noise pollution into electric energy. The brand planted a billboard in Paris that is made up of thousands of acoustic sensors with piezoelectric properties, capable of charging electric vehicles using cities’ noise pollution. The device absorbs the vibrations emitted by city sound waves to help recharge the new 100% electric Peugeot e-208.
