Since 2005 Shell helps the scientists of the Van Gogh Museum with technical knowledge and inventions. Their research provided a great insight into Van Gogh’s way of working, as can be seen in the current exhibition Van Gogh at Work. Shell wanted to share its enthusiasm about the research in a unique activation. BrandBase came up with a striking stunt: a giant replica of a self-portrait by Van Gogh was built completely out of sunflowers. Lots of media picked up the promotion and it even made the headlines of national newspapers. Do you want to see the result? Take a look at the sunny case video!
