India is home to the world’s largest democracy – with up to 900 million votes being cast in the current parliamentary election. But those who live in remote parts of India can’t get to the polling booths. Tough terrain, extreme temperatures and lack of transport affect voter turnout. But this election Jeep came to the rescue with a bold idea, underlining Jeep’s mantra Go anywhere. Do anything. During a year they mapped out some of the most inaccessible areas and arranged for a convoy of cars to ferry the residents to their closest polling booths for the first time ever.
