Especially in these difficult times, access to independent information is crucial to all of us. But in many countries, the information you access online is controlled by oppressive regimes. That’s why press freedom NGO Reporters Without Borders built The Uncensored Library, a digital space that gives young people access to independent information, through one of the world’s most successful video games, Minecraft – a medium with more than 145 million players every month and which is accessible to anyone. The Uncensored Library is accessible on an open server for Minecraft players around the globe and now filled with books, containing articles censored in the country of their origin.
