Due to a 2006 law Sao Paulo turned into a colourless urban jungle. Together with a group of street artist Converse decided to combat the thousands shades of gray with a series of street installations. Passers-by were asked to join the fight by donating their shadows to be outlined and turned into colourful works of art. To extend the movement beyond the city of Sao Paulo, a social call-to-action was implemented, asking people from all over Brazil to donate their own digital shadows on Converse’s social platforms.
