As SAIL’s main sponsor the Dutch ING bank attaches great value in ensuring that everyone can enjoy the largest nautical event in the world. With that in mind BrandBase developed the integrated Heroes of the Sea campaign. The weeks before the event a travelling billboard exhibition connected people with forgotten Dutch sea heroes. And during SAIL Amsterdam the ING Sea Hero Island was the place to be for young and old. More than 112,500 people visited the island.
