The Palau Pledge

31 May 2018 | Services

With 21,000 inhabitants Palau is the thirteenth smallest nation in the world, but it attracts almost eight times its population in tourists each year. With this campaign the government is taking a bold step in encouraging tourists to protect the island nation. Upon entry, visitors need to sign a passport pledge to act in an ecologically responsible way on the island. The Palau Pledge created a lot of buzz on (social) media and among world leaders. Great idea that probably will do well in Cannes.
